Nursery Coordinator - Trinity is seeking a caring, organized, and dependable Nursery Coordinator to oversee our nursery ministry. This role supports families by providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for infants and toddlers during church services and events. Summer Camp Ministry Director: Join our team in this important ministry to share the love of Jesus. Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls is an LCMC congregation located in south Minneapolis. Our church’s mission is to be a “Community of Good News proclaiming and practicing the way of Jesus among our neighbors and the nations.” The church has a decades long legacy of fun and meaningful summer camp ministry at Camp Patmos, located in Hackensack, MN. We are excited to expand this ministry with the goal of having more youth encounter Jesus at summer camp!
The Summer Camp Ministry Director is responsible for the planning, programming, staffing, and implementing of Trinity’s youth summer camp ministry. They will work with a committed team of volunteers to assist them. The role reports to the Lead Pastor.
Desired qualifications include: A follower of Jesus who knows they are saved by His grace and has experienced the life changing value of a camp experience for youth. A minimum of 3 years previous experience planning youth camp experiences to include developing programming, marketing, recruiting and training staff, and providing high quality summer camp experiences for students and volunteers. Strong organizational and communication skills are critical.
The hours for this role per week will vary given the cyclical nature of a summer camp ministry, however it is anticipated to be approximately 20 hours a week when averaged over a calendar year. Benefits will include paid vacation and 403(b) contribution. We are open to considering applicants who live in MN but outside the Twin Cities metro area.
