Milestone Ministry is a series of ministry opportunities designed to build faith in collaboration with family members. Faith Formation begins when children are infants and continues through all the various milestones of life. This ministry opportunity acknowledges the parents are the number one spiritual influence in their child’s life. As a church, we are humbled and honored to be in partnership with you.
Baptisms
Baptism is central to the mission of the church and available to infants, children, and adults. To find out more or to schedule a baptism for you or a family member, please contact the church office.

Blessing of Backpacks
Fall is an exciting time of year when kids are returning to school or attending school for the first time. With new beginnings there can be emotions filled with anxiety and hopes. This is a time to recognize the dependence upon God and His goodness, and that God goes with us wherever we go.
Entry Into Sunday School
Children who are 3 years old by September 1 of the school year are welcomed into Sunday School as their Faith Milestone. These children will experience first-hand what it looks like and what to expect when they attend Sunday School each week.
First Communion Milestone
First Communion Milestone is one of the ways we strive to help families honor the promises made at Baptism. The decision to participate is entirely up to each family. During this milestone, there will be a time of learning, scavenger hunt and a kit for your child to make their First Communion Stoles. We ask that at least one parent attend with their child.
The First Communion Milestone is April 13 with kids receiving their First Communion on Maundy Thursday, April 17.
Confirmation
Confirmation is a ritual wrapped around the beautiful invitation from God to continue growing with this community, experiencing the broader life of the church in High School Ministry and beyond. This service is the culmination of the Confirmation experience and a time when confirmands publicly promise to continue in the relationship that God established with them in baptism. The highlight of this service is the blessing of each confirmed surrounded by their family and guests.
High School – Blessing of Graduates
Graduating High School is a significant milestone for families and their children. We will honor these students with a special blessing during worship.
